VolaFly App: Download and installation DJI Smart Controller for Mavic 2

1. Download VolaFly APK File from Computer

The Download-Website does not support the default and outdated Lightning Browser (ARC 4.x) on the Remote Controller. So you can not download the .APK file directly to the controller!

1.1. Open http://volateq.de on your Laptop and click DRONE APP

1.2. Download APK-File FOR DJI MAVIC 2

1.3. Connect the Remote Controller with your Laptop (via USB) and copy the downloaded APK-File to the Remote Controller

2. Execute and install VolaFly from APK-File on Remote Controller

From here on the installation guide works for both Remote Controllers

2.1. Open Files (or File Manager) and navigate to the folder with the downloaded (or copied) APK-File, click on the APK-File and select Install.
(please make sure to click the latest APK - check download date)

2.2. After the installation, login with the same credentials as for your Volateq app account.

2.3. Enter the MFA code either from your E-Mail or from your TOTP Authenticator App

2.4. Grant access for all requested permissions → Always click ALLOW

Updates and maintenance

For versions 2.4.0 and earlier: To update the Volafly app, first uninstall the app and then download it again.

For version 2.4.0 and above, the app automatically checks for new versions and prompts you to confirm the update.
