Flight Campaign Creation:

Upon clicking, a window will appear displaying the name of your plant.

  1. Choose the drone you intend to use for the flights if you have multiple drones available.

  2. Specify the date on which you plan to conduct the flights.

  3. Ensure you select the correct product packages for evaluation in the analysis (Remeber: For the HCE Temperature and Glass Breakage Package, conduct flights during operations. All other packages require flights in the afternoon with the collectors positioned at 90°).

  4. Forcing additional flight types will not be necessary and is a field mainly used by Volateq.

Flight Configuration Options:

  1. Battery Hotswapping: Enabled by default, assuming battery changes after each flight for optimized minimal flight times.

  2. Auto-export to Litchi: If enabled, flight routes will be directly exported to the associated Litchi account, adding 1 minute per route due to Litchi API limitations.

  3. Optimize Torsion Flight Time: To evaluate SCA torsion, two flights over each subfield are required, each with a different movement direction. By default, the app prioritizes subsequent flights over the same subfield to minimize interference with operation. Selecting this option allows for the shortest flight times in fewer days but may result in higher interference with plant operations. Note that conducting flights on an 100% overcast day allows great flexibility in timing.
